Getting Your Needs Met and the Power of YES and NO

So getting your needs met is like a delicious pop tart.  Now maybe this is a bad metaphor. Maybe you hate pop tarts.  I am not the biggest fan but thats what I had for breakfast and it was delicious.  Also in the analogy of the pop tart it helps to say that it was toasted but not overly and esp not burnt. Nothing ruins you morning like a burnt pop tart.

Also to be said about the pop tart theory Is I haven't had one for like over a year.  And Growing up we only had like one Flavor: this one... as Mom still only has one flavor of pop tarts...

but the real message is get your needs met.  it will feel yummy. and you will be happy-ish.

the power of YES and NO.  Use your words carefully.  Realize it it ok to say NO. No it not a bad word.  it ties into getting your needs met. No can be just as empowering as a YES in the right context. And Yes-es can elate the saddest panda. No is always a No, and a Yes is always a Yes.  PONDER DEEPLY ON THAT...

if you are not good at saying No... Practice.  Even if it is like: Do You want Fries with that... NO, I CERTAINLY DO NOT.  still be courteous, polite and stuff when saying your no...  the caps was just an effect don't yell when saying no thats just not nice unless you are <4.

That's what I did... Now I can not feel guilt when I need to say No (well for the most part - it is still a work in progress)

ZO(t)D:  It's been around but that doesn't mean it is not fantastic... and DUDE YOU SLAPPED A FISH

  1. I love the daily dose of Amy! I tone down my grammar alarm, but I wouldn't mind proofreading for you. It's more inoperable to get the words out in the first place. Hopefully I'm not the only reader, but I will continue to comment to let you know it's appreciated!
