So Im not having a good day or necessarily a bad day. I need to remember to calm down. breathe. and DON'T PANIC.
It will get better. The Day has just started it has too. but here is what made my day not off to a good start. Woke up freezing. the Puppy had a flea on him. (hey if i find 3 its a party and a not good thing.) someone posted something on facebook and I can't tell if its meant funny or like snarky. I don't care what people think but I want people to be happy.
but here is the worst thing. the absolute worst thing.
I am out of bread.
One cannot have Beans on Toast for breakfast without the toast. its kind of a crucial component.
Woe is me how shall I cat shame? well first I'd need a cat. and then bread.
As a separate note. I'd avoid IMDB.com today there is a scary eyeball alien worm thing. and it is taking up the whole screen. you can't avoid it. Why can't I click something and it gives me an ad for the OUTLANDER - thats got scotland in it. and redheads. and it's not scary interwebs make this happen.
so I am going to go walk the dogs pilgrimage (pronounced in Middle English) /forage (i think thats a word or similar sounding to a word) for bread...
songs in my head: love is an open door (cause of this) This and that and add some Lorde for good measure.
one final things: So I like to imagine my adult friends as kids cause I didn't really have that I never had the bestie who i was a bestie with as a small child. so tribe tell me what you were like as a small child or young adult. I was geeky, introverted, I loved LOVED LJ SMITH BOOKS - to this day I can't watch her tv series. and that's sad cause well i love me some vamps. and ian somerholder is cuteish. I blossomed late like college.
and another thing. I want a your first music memory: what do you remember about listening to music like your first music memory. mine was michael jackson's thriller my dad had it on cassette along with Lionel Richie's album. there is this. I remember a compulation cassette (only humans make mixed tapes - coporations make compulations) that my dad got with his car - it was so good. and I remember listening to the Judds, Beach Boys and Beatles with my dad.
hey what do you know my day is better. see venting in type format helps.
Listening to the quiet storm at night. My parents had a portable cassette/radio player and one night left it on in our room. As a child I was a reader, I was too weird for everyone and I was aware of concepts beyond my years, I was constantly getting in trouble. I think you and I would have been great friends as kids. I needed someone like you
ReplyDeleteHey I still need someone like you and I am damn skippy glad we are friends :)
