why do i have a feeling this is gunna end with me getting mad

this is a ramble.

so like in Jan I booked a cabin in asheville for my birthday. put a sizeable deposit on it. by march I had to cancel. she said I could keep the deposit and rebook.
now here's where it gets crazy according to her she gave me 50% of my deposit back.  I can't find it refunded at least on the card she initially charged the full deposit nor on my bank account.

I am trying to rebook the place and find myself with a bad taste in my mouth.
HMPH.
