the things i forget

you ever have that movie that you've seen 100 times but its been awhile?

like i've mentioned i've been watching 80's movies today.

right now i'm watching Hook. its been entirely too long... and I'm saying things while watching it like... THIS IS A STEPHEN SPIELBERG movie and OOH LOOK that's PHIL COLLINS.

oh now I'm sad about Robin Williams.  it's too soon it will always be too soon. he will be missed.

Hook is one of the few movies I remember seeing in theaters. Adventures in Babysitting, Little Mermaid, the babysitting club, casper, Wild Hearts Can't be Broken, Dances with Wolves - that one was cause it was my mom's birthday oh yeah there are stories around that movie. maybe Hocus Pocus. I think i saw some Back to the Future 3 at the drive in.

I think i had the biggest crush on Rufio.  I definitely remember having the movie tie in book of hook.

i keep seeing long ships? those big old timey boats and wish i could have one.  it would be one of those things i'd have if id win said lottery. but like it would be massive and prolly really expensive. but i'd have to have a crew and i'd take my friends on adventures.  we'd sail like around the 7 seas but really it would be like the east coast or maybe just maybe I'd have my boat in lake michigan cause apparently thats where there were lake pirates which just sounds cool.

suddenly im curious what the first acting debut Robert Patterson was first in. I remember him in HP 4 but was he in something else?

  1. omg I watched Hook last week for the first time in years, too!
I had one cheesy/nostalgic movie per night, depending on what was on the magical cable at the rental house.
    night 1: hook
    night 2: dirty dancing (!!!!!!!!!!!)
    night 3: brave
I was there more than 3 nights so not sure what's up with that.

I need to see wild hearts can't be broken again.
there's this other movie called dark horse that's similar in themes and time period and, y'know, horse involvement. :)
hmm there are a lot of movies by that title as it turns out.
I am referring to the 1992 one.
